Mental Health issues cost Canadian employers a whopping $1.5 billion dollars a year. A recent report completed by the World Federation of Mental Health indicated that 37.5% of Canadians report a psychiatric condition (WFMH, 2000). Disability insurers indicate that mental health claims are rising at a rate of 10% a year.
