The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act has become a challenge for many employers to implement. 


Our Policy

Privacy Policy respects your privacy. Our goal is to be your trusted objective source for health and disability management services and information so that you can make informed decisions about your company's health. Our privacy policy is to disclose to you what customer information we gather and how we use it, give you complete choice over what personal information we use for different purposes and provide access to the information that we have in order to allow you to review and correct your information.  This information is available in your account profile.

When you visit our website, what information do we gather about your company and how do we use it? does not pass on any personal identifiable or financial information about your company to third party advertising servers. Aggregate, anonymous information is shared in articles and databases to better inform the corporate community about the status of health and disability in Canada. This information cannot be matched with your corporate information or financial information.

Email addresses are required in order to register for some of our features at we do not rent out customer's email addresses to third parties for unsolicited email communications.

Occasionally, we will send email communications to provide information that we think you will find useful including information about our products and services. In every email we send, it is our policy to have instructions on how to unsubscribe so that you will not receive future emails.

What information is used in accessing our subscription services or products?

In order to ensure access to our database of webtips, research articles and products you will be asked to subscribe. All payments are made through the PayPal system, whose security system encrypts your information. Gowan Health does not receive any information with respect to your financial data but receives a confirmation of your transaction.


Workshop & Webinar Cancellation Policy

If you cannot attend a course for which you have paid and are confirmed and cannot find a substitute to take your place, please notify us by email or fax no later than 15 business days prior to your workshop's start date for a refund of 80%.

If you cancel a paid and confirmed course with fewer than 15 business days remaining before the start date of that course, you will not be issued a refund but you will receive a courtesy transfer to any future workshop date and location of equal value or less. The courtesy transfer must be used within one year of the original cancelled sessions.

For cancellations received less than 5 business days in advance of the session start date or if you fail to attend without notifying us, neither a refund nor a courtesy transfer would be issued.
