Support for Individuals
At times, managing the realities of life can be hard. Changes in health, work demands, or personal circumstances can affect how you function day to day. Occupational therapy helps you lean into your strengths, remove barriers, and implement strategies that help you participate in the activities that matter most. At home, work, or anywhere, occupational therapy has answers.

- Coach you to be able to independently manage cognitive or emotional challenges

How to Access Support
Through an insurer or benefits
Services may be arranged through disability insurance or extended health benefits. Check your coverage to see if Occupational Therapy is an available option. It is usually covered under "paramedical services" or in some cases "mental health support."
Through your employer
Your employer may coordinate services as part of their work accommodation, health and safety or disability management programs. Check with your organization to see if accommodations, wellness programs, or occupational therapy support is available through your workplace.
